A beautifully designed first person shooting game.

Warface is a free-to-play game. It was developed using the Crytek CryEngine 3 and the game looks fantastic. It was first developed and released in 2013, but they keep updating the game. It is a first-person shooter you can play online. Play the game and earn experience points that are used like currency to purchase other weapons for the game.

Player Modes That Make You Fight Other People

You can play on modes such as “Storm” where you capture three maps in succession, or team deathmatch where the team colours left standing are the winners. There are modes such as plant the bomb in the enemy base, and a “free for all” mode where there are no teams and you can kill whichever player(s) you wish.

Why Does The Game Have Such Mixed Reviews

There are some hackers that have been able to upgrade their characters and ruin it for everybody else, though on Steam they are cancelling the accounts of suspicious players that get very high stats very quickly.

Some people have complained that the maps are a little uninspired and that the gameplay is repetitive. The repetitive gameplay element is partially true, but only really if you have played a lot of Call of Duty. If you have played a lot of COD, then there is a good chance you will become bored with this game very quickly.

Pay To Play And Pay To Win

One of the biggest flaws is that you have to pay to win. It is free to play, but if you want good weapons and a real chance of winning the game, then you will need to spend real money--and that is one of the biggest things that spoils the game.

The Graphics On The Africa Update Are Fantastic

They really are something to write home about. The way they are rendered, the way they are lit, and the photo-realism is very good. On a high-spec computer where you can see it in all of its glory, it will occasionally make you do a double-take as you check to see if you are watching a movie.

  • The Africa update is wild
  • The shooting elements are well put together
  • The Crytek CryEngine 3 is very good
  • The sliding feature is fun
  • It runs smoothly even if you put it on its higher graphics settings

  • There is a pay-to-win system
  • Pay for permanent weapons
  • Pay for skins
  • Pay for restoration coins
  • Pay for the VIP exp boost
